The Groom (Dedicated to Pastor Taysa Kotov)
She stands at the altar in white
As the Groom quick steps into sight
He calls out loud ‘Where is my bride’
She whispers soft ‘Here by Your side’.
He is not late. He knows the time
From right and left their hearts combine
Together and never alone
Destined to make heaven their home
Her temple adorned with His crown
The throne waits for her to sit down
Meek and glorious as His wife
Chosen for eternal life
Passing through earth with no falter
Waiting on Him at the altar
Believing soon He would be here
To be with the one He holds dear
